Ring Hunt: Free Banned-Word Game and Ring Tracker

Give each player one ring and track transfers when someone says a banned word. This browser tool is a manual counter for the spoken-word game.

How to play

1. Enter at least two names and hand out one play ring or clothespin per person.
2. Announce the words: wedding, bride, dress and ring. Set a finish time.
3. When a player is caught saying a word, transfer one physical ring to the person who noticed.
4. The host taps minus for the losing player and plus for the receiving player. Both changes are needed.
5. End game shows the highest ring count and recognizes tied leaders.

Before your guests arrive

Keep the tracker on one hosting device and check it against the physical rings. This version is not a hidden-object hunt; it does not detect speech or move rings automatically.

Questions about this game

What if someone has no rings left?

The counter cannot go below zero. A ringless guest can still catch another player, if that person has a ring available to transfer.
